Jorgen Makena is a Los Angeles based actress and dancer from Salt Lake City, Utah. Her feature film debut “High Strung: Free Dance” premiered across the US (2019). The film features both her dancing and acting immensely. The “The LA Times” called Makena’s opening performance in the film “energetic, impressive and diverting.” Other film credits include lead actress on both short films “Little Bird” and “Vegas Baby”.
As a Dancer, Makena has worked as a professional commercial dancer in TV/Film, has toured the US and performed internationally. She can be seen dancing on “Reality High” Netflix Original movie, Skechers commercials, JLo’s Music Video “Medicine” and for multiple platforms of The Walt Disney Company including Disney Channel’s “Austin and Ally”. She spent 2018 touring and performing in 111 theaters across the country. She’s danced in Europe and worked in China performing a sold out show with China pop star Z.TAO.
